St Giles Trust’s Eastern Team are starting work on a project in Norfolk helping vulnerable women in the criminal justice system. Funding from the county’s Police and Crime Commissioner means that the WONDER pilot project will be expanded over the next three years. St Giles Trust will be working in partnership with City Reach and Future Projects to help women with complex needs in police custody access the services and support to address the root causes of their offending.
St Giles Trust Chief Executive Rob Owen OBE said: “We are delighted to be working in Norfolk offering vulnerable women in the criminal justice system the care and support they need to turn their lives around. We have many of years of experience in doing this type of work and are pleased to be sharing this by working in partnership with City Reach and Future Projects.”
