On Tuesday, we were proud to host an energy advice event at our South Kensington Pantry, in collaboration with The Wise Group’s Home Energy Advice Team (HEAT) and with generous support from the charitable foundation of Clarion Housing Group which owns and manages hundreds of homes across Kensington and Chelsea.
Around 20 Pantry members attended, receiving warm packs filled with practical winter essentials like draught tape, thermal socks, and microwaveable wheat bags. For those needing more in-depth guidance on managing their energy bills, The Wise Group’s HEAT team provided dedicated 1-to-1 support, offering expert advice to help households stay warm and reduce costs.
We are incredibly grateful to Clarion Futures for funding this initiative and to The Wise Group for their ongoing commitment to supporting St Giles’ clients. Reflecting on the event, The Wise Group shared:
“We are proud to work in close partnership with St Giles to provide essential energy support to their customers. The Wise Group’s energy advice service is a testament to the power of collaboration and community support, and we are committed to helping alleviate cost-of-living pressures for those in need.”
David Adams, Head of Service at St Giles, echoed this sentiment:
“We are delighted to have hosted this energy advice event at our South Kensington Pantry, providing practical support to our members during these challenging times. Access to reliable energy advice and essential warm packs can make a real difference, and we are incredibly grateful to Clarion Futures for funding this initiative and to The Wise Group for their invaluable expertise. At St Giles, we remain committed to working in partnership to support our communities and help alleviate financial pressures for those who need it most.”
